You know that guy at the craps table with the babes gathered around? He may not be thinking clearly. New research confirms that men take more chances when they're around hot women. Using a test involving blackjack and pictures of attractive women, researches at Florida State found that arousal leads to bigger risk-taking by men. It's part of an ancient mate-seeking strategy- showing off to impress girls, says study coauthor Michael Baker, Ph.D.(c). "Men should consider the potential costs and benefits of showing off."
