10 Celebrities Who Really Look Like Other Celebrities

Celebrity Look Alikes

Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Javier Bardem

I have to say I’m getting a little sick and tired of celebrity look a like pages where there’s not even a hint of look a like going on.  People say that two people look a like simply from the fact that they may be making the same face in a picture.

That doesn’t mean shit.  I like pictures where two people actually look a like.

And these are ten celebrity pairings that fit that bill…

This chick was featured in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show the other night and I'm dying to know who she is! But holy shit, I wanna make her my wife.

EDIT:

Just discovered that her name is Candice Swanepoel. Hottie from South Africa. Here is a bonus video from her appearance on CBS Football Today.

Pope's MySpace Music Playlist Includes Tupac and Muse

Posted by itsyourboyerik on 11:24 AM

His Holiness is either trying to "get down with the bambini" or he really does enjoy listening to 2PAC's 'Changes' and Muse's 'Uprising.' Presumably he can relate to the lyrics "I'm tired of being poor and even worse I'm black."

He's no stranger to the tech world, having dabbled in some light SMS spamming on an Australian visit last year, and now he's contributed a playlist to MySpace Music, which features tracks from his favourite brudda, Tupac.

MySpace Music has just launched in the UK, 15 months after it debuted in the US, and along with the Papal one's dubious choice of choons, Beyonce, 50 Cent and Nelly Furtado have all chosen songs too, though none claim to share "the aim to reach the heart of good minded people" quite like the Vatican. If Warning Labels Were Honest

Posted by itsyourboyerik on 7:16 PM

These days, everything has a warning label on it because people are stupid and inclined to suing anyone who doesn't tell them to use common sense.  As annoying as this is, we feel that product warning labels are a little too formal, and perhaps they'd benefit from just being honest once in a while.  Here's what it would look like if warning labels were honest:

AT&T Comes in Last in Consumer Reports Study That Surprises No One

Posted by itsyourboyerik on 5:19 PM

Here's some news anyone with an iPhone could have told you: AT&T delivers crappy service that its customers hate. But this news comes from a reputable source, Consumer Reports, instead of the usual whiny friends.

Yes, in 19 of the 26 cities surveyed, AT&T was ranked dead last in every category. Verizon was ranked the best, followed by T-Mobile, then Sprint and then, of course, bringing up the rear is our friend AT&T. You can compare their results to the results of our own nationwide 3G test here.

You've got to wonder if Apple can afford to stick this exclusivity contract out another year, what with decent competitors such as the Droid and the Pre now available. AT&T is as big a black mark on Apple's customer service reputation as they've ever had. And hell, for AT&T's sake it'd be nice to see some other carriers share the burden of iPhone data hogs. Gizmodo's Essential iPhone Apps: November '09 Edition

Posted by itsyourboyerik on 3:27 PM

Each month, the best new iPhone apps—and some older ones—are considered for admission into Gizmodo's Essential iPhone Apps Directory. Who will join? Who will live? Who will die?

For the full directory of Gizmodo's Essential iPhone Apps, click here.

The Month's Best

As gathered from our weekly roundups.

If you hate hate hate galleries, click here for a single post.

Essential App Directory Inductees

This month was BOUNTIFUL, as we welcome seven (7!) new apps to the fold. Here are your new inductees:

I Am T-Pain: This app was fun when it first came out, but now that you can sing over your iPod library, it's priceless.

Waze: Because it's getting to be good enough to depend on (in a few areas), because it's free, and because their video-gamey plan to make the app better is totally charming.

Voices: Because when your iPhone isn't acting as a tool, it's a toy. And everyone loves some good voice modulation.

Snapture: Because full 3GS support, which Snapture recently added, was the only thing holding this app back from replacing the iPhone's camera completely.

ShopSavvy: Because any iPhone decent a good, free barcode scanning app.

Chorus: Because finding new apps is hard, y'all.

Jailbreak: Kirikae: Because without a solid task switcher like Kirikae, fantastic jailbreak app Backgrounder is kind of useless. With it, your iPhone is a full-fledged multitasking smartphone, finally. (Don't get defensive!)

And Farewell To...

Our current directory members are all safe this time around. But next month, expect hell. (Maybe!)

What counts as an essential iPhone app changes all the time, and so should our guide: If we've missed anything huge, or you've got a much better suggestion for a particular type of app, let us know, or say so in the comments. We'll be updating this thing pretty frequently, and a million Gizmodo readers can do a better job at sorting through the app mess than a single Gizmodo editor. Enjoy!

When Particularly Hot Gymnast Girls Are Doing Their Thing

Posted by itsyourboyerik on 2:02 PM

Sexy Gymnast

Honestly, unless you’re into gymnastics, when in the world do you ever watch this sport? Don’t get me wrong.  I’m incredibly impressed by what gymnasts can do.  It’s just that I can’t see a reason to every really watch gymnastics unless we’re talking about the Olympics and unless we’re specifically talking about women’s gymnastics.

Even more to the point, and as sexist as it sounds, I’m really referring to the more attractive little ladies of the sport.  So while we’ve all seen excruciating pictures of gymnasts, I decided to trim the fat and only limit it to particularly attractive gymnasts in the heat of competition.

Please enjoy this.  I’m sure you will be amazed
