Eh, not too impressed with the main card at all. The undercard fights look to be alot more interesting and exciting to be honest. But oh well, we all can't be picky! On to my predictions...
MAIN CARD
Silva -VS- Leites (MW Championship) - As much as I want Leites to finally dethrone Silva I just don't see it happening. Leites will just get overwhelmed by Silva's muay thai skills. Silva will toy with Leites like he did with Cote and go past the 1st round until he unleashes his fury with muay thai strikes. Silva wins via TKO in 2nd rnd.
Liddell -VS- Rua - Liddell has already been put on notice by Dana White that he needs to win this fight or else his days with the UFC could be over. This fight will give the "Iceman" a pulse and hopefully get back into his winning ways. Liddell wins via TKO in the 2nd rnd.
Soszynski -VS- Stann - Former TUF contestant (Soszynski) will face off against former WEC LHW Champ (Stann) in this light-heavyweight matchup. Both are great strikers and would wanna stand up and fight but Soszynski has a much more dangerous submissions and ground game. If Soszynski goes with this gameplan I see a win for the former TUF contestant and IFL vet. Soszynski wins via submission in the 1st rnd.
Kongo -VS- Hardonk - Battle of the heavyweights. This should be fun to watch. Both fighters have a kickboxing background so expect a lot of strikes standing up. There should be a good mix of "ooos" and "ahhhs" tomorrow night because both are going to look to KO each other. I see this fight going into the last round. Kongo wins via TKO in the 3rd rnd.
Cantwell -VS- Cane - Another former WEC LHW (Cantwell) is looking to extend his winning ways in the UFC against an aggressive fighter in Cane. Tough fight to predict because both are going to be hungry and try and establish themselves as one of the best in the LHW division. I will lean towards Cane only by a little because of his experience and has had tougher opponents in the past. Cane wins via TKO in 2nd rnd.
